Our view of Harris Wood Floors (formerly
Harris Tarkett) was
very positive at the turn of the century. A
major ownership switch seems to be the
result of product quality hitting the skids
in recent years.
On a positive note, the company offers some
attractive distressed engineered hardwoods
in a wider five inch plank. Over the years
the most prominent product line became their
Longstrip Collection. Unfortunately the
reshuffle has axed that product as well.
We've been looking forward to a revitalized
company; one that can bring new product
innovation and creativity the company did
have a grasp on in the early part of this
century.2008-
